Vajra Jahra is located in Costa Rica's Diamante Valley and offers breathtaking views of the country’s tallest waterfall, Diamante Falls. Nestled on 12 acres of pristine jungle and sloping mountain side, we have two private rivers, swimming holes, hiking trails, and stunning views from every villa as well as our infinity pool, and shared spaces.

About the Diamante Valley

The Diamante Valley is one of the most biodiverse areas in all of Costa Rica and also boasts an exceptional micro-climate, with gentle mountain breezes and an average temperature of 82°F (27.9°C). It's the ideal climate for many of Costa Rica's most famous animals, including several species of monkeys, and hundreds of birds, butterflies, and small mammals that also call this valley home. In addition to animals, our area is home to some of the countries wildest, and most stunning waterfalls - Nauyaca, Diamante, and many smaller local ones we can help guests access.

The nearest town to Vajra Jahra is Tinamaste, a charming rural village just a 10-minute drive away. It offers a few supermarkets, local restaurants, and a vibrant farmers' market every Tuesday morning. For a beach day, the Pacific Coast’s Dominical is only 35 minutes away. Heading 35 minutes in the opposite direction will take you to Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica’s second-largest city, which is the perfect place to explore the country's largest farmers market and have access to banks, hospitals, and larger supermarkets.
