Your reservation includes a private villa featuring air conditioning, an en suite bathroom, a kitchenette, and a private sitting area. A complimentary breakfast is also included with your stay.
Vajra Jahra is approximately a four hour drive from the closest international airport - SJO which is located in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Our water source at Vajra Jahra is spring fed so there is no need for bottled water.
At this time, we are only allowing service animals.
Vajra Jahra is nestled on the picturesque mountainside of the Diamante Valley, offering a paved driveway and beautifully maintained trails leading to the villas and common areas. Due to some uneven terrain along the paths, we recommend Vajra Jahra for guests with good mobility.
Costa Rica experiences a variety of tropical seasons, including the dry, green, and rainy seasons. The dry season spans from December to April, while the green season, from May to September, brings occasional showers along with fuller, more tranquil rivers and waterfalls. The rainy season, from mid-September to November, is marked by abundant rainfall that transforms the landscape into a vibrant, lush paradise.
The closest medical offices and hospitals (both private and public) are located about a 35 - 40 minutes drive away in Perez Zeledon.
Our villas feature kitchenettes equipped with a coffee maker, mini-fridge, and counter space. While cooking inside the villas is not permitted, you can enjoy delicious meals prepared by our onsite chef with 24-hour advance notice.
Our concierge team can assist you with arranging transportation either by ground or domestic air from within the country.
Breakfast is included with your stay. For lunch and dinner, our onsite chef is available to prepare meals with 24-hour advance notice.
Costa Rica’s local currency is the colón, though most places also accept US dollars. Since exchange rates fluctuate regularly, it's a good idea to check the current rate daily.
